I just capture the authentic unfolding of your day, and make it into a great, heartfelt story.
Emma + Eamon's Story
Ceremony: St Stephen’s Cathedral, Brisbane CBD
Reception: Brisbane Racing Club, Tote Room, Ascot
The most amazing gift a groom could ever open on his wedding morning… You only need to watch this video for the first 90 seconds to realise why it went viral on social media and became the most watched Your Wedding Story video of all time.
Camilla + Michael's Story
Ceremony: Family property in Morven, Western Queensland
Reception: Family property – marquee
When you make your childhood dream come true by being married on a property that’s been in your family for 100 years, well that’s just pure magic. But this wedding was a celebration of two families’ heritage. A proud Welshman brought several touches from his homeland to this epic outback celebration.
BRIELLE + MARK’s Story
Ceremony: Old Gates, Gabbinbar Homestead, Toowoomba
Reception: Conservatory, Gabbinbar Homestead
Crazy good styling, perfect dress, divine venue… and speeches that left the crowd in tears – both the emotional and the hilarious kind.
Bridget + Knox's Story
Ceremony: Yandina Station, Sunshine Coast
Reeption: Yandina Station
This wedding was recently featured in a divine spread in Queensland Brides magazine and it is not hard to see why. Every detail was utterly perfect.
Courtney + Stewart’s Story
Ceremony: The Old Gates, Gabbinbar Homestead, Toowoomba
Reception: The Conservatory, Gabbinbar Homestead
An expansive depth of love could be felt at Courtney and Stewart’s long awaited wedding day. They met in grade six and even back then saw something special in each other.
Cheryl + James' Story
Ceremony: The Gardens Club, Brisbane
Reception: The Gardens Club, Brisbane
A couple like no other. A wedding day like no other. Instead of a first dance, they did a first video game. The bride wore a jumpsuit. They high fived everyone as they walked back down the aisle together. This was a super fun day. But it was also a day to honour Cheryl and James’ families, and by special request I included some parent interviews in their video.
Jess + Adam's Story
Ceremony: Private Property, Knockrow, Northern NSW
Reception: Private Property, Knockrow, Northern NSW
I have to admit, one of my favourite movies of all time is Steve Martin in Father of the Bride. So Jess’ Dad stole my heart a little bit with his speech at this beautiful wedding. And despite pouring rain and so much mud, the event was truly stunning thanks to styling by Main Event Weddings. We were gifted a double rainbow and an incredible sunset like nothing I’ve ever seen.
Megan + Sonny’s Story
Ceremony: Corpus Christi, Nundah
Reception: QUT Room Three Sixty
From their Vietnamese tea ceremony through to their church ceremony and reception, Sonny and Megan’s wedding celebrations honoured family, cultural traditions and absent loved ones. During their reception I heard over and over again people remarking, “There is so much love in the room.” And it really was palpable. And P.S. Megan can really rock the dance floor.
Breanna + Sam's Story
Ceremony: Ancora, Tweed Heads
Bree and Sam have known each other since preschool. They were school captains together in grade 6. In year 7 they started to date… until Bree got her friend to dump Sam on the bus. But all is well that ends well. In fact, very well.
Emily + Andrew's Story
Ceremony: Stuartholme Chapel, Mt Coot-tha
Reception: Victoria Park Golf Complex, Herston
When you surround yourself with a close knit group of fun friends on your wedding day, you can be sure you’ll be laughing all day. Even in church, when you’re not supposed to be.
Emma + Ben’s Story
Ceremony: Family property, Lockyer Valley
Reception: The Onion Shed on the family property!
Generations of farming history and strong marriages were honoured at this beautiful country wedding. The landscape was incredible. And seriously, how amazing does this onion shed look?!
Trudy + Brad’s Story
Ceremony: Weddings at Tiffany’s Chapel, Maleny
Reception: Weddings at Tiffany’s, Maleny
This love story really gets me in the heart. Trudy and Brad have six grown up sons between them, and a couple of grandkids. When your own children are this delighted to see you find love, you know you’re on to something pure, good, and true. Trudy and Brad are the proof that indeed your soul mate can arrive at any time.
Megan + Matt's Story
Ceremony: Lourdes Hill Chapel, Hawthorne
Reception: Blackbird Bar + Restaurant, Brisbane CBD
The venues for this wedding held a lot of significance. Megan + Matt met on a night out at Blackbird. So it’s only fitting this is where they returned to celebrate their wedding! Megan also chose for her ceremony to take place at her old school.
Fran + Aurelio’s Story
Ceremony: Our Lady of Victories, Bowen Hills
Reception: The Greek Club, West End
This wedding was as much a tribute to Fran and Aurelio’s families and Italian heritage as it was a celebration of their own love. And boy do Italians know how to party!
Jacinta + Kendall's Story
Ceremony: Yandina Station, Sunshine Coast
Reception: Yandina Station
I first met Jacinta and Kendall as members of another bridal party. When it came time for these two to get hitched I was so excited to be asked to capture their day – it felt like hanging out with old friends! And what a bonus that I got to witness the most awesome bouquet intercept by Jacinta’s hilarious sister.
ANDREA + LEIGH’s Story
Ceremony: Hillstone St Lucia, Courtyard Garden
Reception: Hillstone St Lucia, Rosewood Room
With two children and a decade of stories already behind them, Andrea and Leigh’s wedding was a celebration of something that has long existed in their hearts and home.
Megan + James' Story
Ceremony: High Church, Fortitude Valley
Reception: The Joinery, West End
This wedding has been featured in more wedding magazines and blogs than you can poke a stick at. And why wouldn’t it be? The styling was off the charts! But Megan and James also happen to come from incredibly warm, loving families. So there was a whole lot of substance to this occasion. James’ tribute to his own parents’ marriage makes me cry. Every. Single. Time.
